Gas Fire Installation Scunthorpe

A gas fire is one of the most popular ways to add warmth and character to a living room. Modern gas fires come in a huge range of styles — from traditional log-effect fires to sleek, contemporary glass-fronted models — and are far more efficient than their older counterparts.

Types of Gas Fire We Install

  • Inset gas fires — fitted into an existing fireplace opening
  • Freestanding gas fires — flexible positioning options
  • Hole-in-the-wall (balanced flue) fires — contemporary, no chimney needed
  • Log-effect gas fires — realistic flame pattern
  • Pebble and coal-effect gas fires
  • High-efficiency glass-fronted gas fires
  • Gas fire surrounds — supply and fitting
  • Back boiler fires (repair and replacement)

Gas Fire Servicing and Repair

Gas fires should be serviced annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer. During a service we clean the burner and pilot assembly, check the flue and ventilation, test all safety devices, and carry out a full safety inspection.

If your gas fire will not light, keeps going out, or is producing a yellow or orange flame, call us immediately — a yellow flame can indicate a carbon monoxide risk.
